APPLICATIONS:
The Flexible Flinger Disc represents a philosophical change in some
lubrication fundamentals. The disc is designed to throw oil around
inside the bearing housing from an oil bath residing below the
traditional bearing oil level. This is predominantly found in API
standard pump configurations where slinger rings have been commonplace.
It is intended to create an "oil splash", similar to slinger rings, to
ultimately provide better lubrication to the bearings without the
inherent disadvantages associated with other methods, including
slippage, metal wear, ring travel, and misapplication.
FEATURES:
|
• |
Firmly fixed to shaft
eliminating metallic particle wear found in slinger ring

|
• |
Eliminates slippage common
to slinger rings |
|
• |
Not sensitive to
shaft horizontality, oil viscosity, or high oil immersion |
|
• |
Easily assembly and
disassembly through bearing housing with flexible Viton® material |
|
• |
Corrosion resistant
