Cooker Bearing Grease QLS Pump (Doc File) This
equipment cooks prepared meat products by means of conveying the
product through a complex arrangement of various processing
zones. Chains convey the items (hot dogs, lunch meat and bacon)
through enclosed rinsing, cooking, seasoning and cooling
sections. Two applications are profiled. The cooker fans were
addressed with a QLS system that greases the fan drive bearings.
High heat in this application is very damaging to the fan
bearings, if the lubrication schedule is not maintained. |

equipment cooks prepared meat products by means of conveying the
product through a complex arrangement of various processing
zones. Chains convey the items (hot dogs, lunch meat and bacon)
through enclosed rinsing, cooking, seasoning and cooling
sections. The conveyor chain that moves the product through
various temperature zones experiences extreme moisture and is
lubricated by an Orsco spray system that insures a controlled
oil application and does not over-lubricate or contaminate the
food product. The food contamination was a big concern and the
customer was satisfied with the pin point control. |

packages. In this application reduced bearing life resulted from

Candy Mogul Chain Oil Orsco (Doc
File) NID Candy Mogul - The mogul is the
lead machine in a candy production facility. Reliability is the
major issue. The mogul forms the candy product and transfers it
to secondary operations. Starch (abrasive) is used extensively
in the process and severely affects the chain life. Chemical and
water sanitation also contribute to high maintenance cost. The
Orsco spray system increases chain life. The chain cost also
includes expensive attachments that support the candy boards and
chain guides. Worn chain and guides result in lost production
when boards are dropped or jam due to component wear. |
